Community Outreach
At BioClinica, we are dedicated to transforming lives and giving back to the communities where we do business. Whether in conjunction with organizational efforts or on their own, many employees offer their own time, money and dedication to supporting our community----food drives, holiday gift giving, and many walks, rides and runs in support of disease research.
National MS 150
Each year, a growing contingent of BioClinica employees participates in the "city to shore" National MS 150 bike ride to raise money and awareness for the fight against multiple sclerosis. At the core of the National MS Society’s vision is the commitment to creating a world free of MS. For 13,000 MS Society members in the Greater Delaware Valley, that means offering a full slate of programs aimed at educating people about how to overcome the disease’s physical, social and financial effects, as well as customized direct services to address each individual’s specific needs.
Schoemaker Classic
This is a great event for a great cause! The Hubert J. P. Schoemaker Classic honors the memory of Hubert J.P Schoemaker, the founder of Centocor. Proceeds support Melmark's educational, vocational, and residential programs and services. Melmark is the Berwyn home for children and adults with developmental difficulties, including autism spectrum disorders, acquired brain injury and other neurological and genetic disorders. BioClinica has been an active supporter since the founding of this event in 2006.
THON - finding a cure for all childhood cancers
Affectionately referred to as THON, the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer. THON has raised more than $52 million, benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Children’s Hospital. With the support of students from all across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and THON Alumni all around the world, we continue to make great strides towards finding a cure for all childhood cancers.
Sponsor-a-Family
BioClinica sponsors an annual drive to give back to the community working with the United Way, Carson Valley Children's Aid, and the Family Service Association to support local families during the holiday season. Employees are always very generous in their support of this effort, donating and wrapping the many gifts delivered to these families.
Athletes Helping Athletes Special Olympics
Athletes Helping Athletes is a Non-Profit Organization that benefits Special Olympics & Special Needs Programs in Bucks County.
Winter Coat Drive
Every year, thousands of men, women, and children in the Greater Philadelphia region live through the cold winter season without a coat to keep warm. BioClinica employees donate over 100 new and gently used coats to help others remain warm during the winter months. These coats are donated to those in need each season through the Philadelphia Cares’ Winter Coat Drive.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
At BioClinica we have organized a friendly competition between our Pennsylvania offices to benefit Philabundance, an organization that provides support to over 600 Delaware Valley agencies that operate Food Cupboards. Employees generously donate boxes of mashed potatoes and cash to help feed those in need.
