ClinBUS Connector enables organizations to pull important operational data from third party clinical trial software, such as Electronic Data Capture (EDC), and make it available for use in TranSenda’s Office-Smart solutions. Based upon TranSenda’s ClinBUS™ data sharing technology, ClinBUS Connector allows software systems to share a set of pre-defined operational data with Office-Smart Clinical Trial Manager™ and Office-Smart Clinical Payment Manager™. ClinBUS Connector also makes data available through Microsoft SharePoint® Server and the Microsoft Office System. Opening key operational data to Microsoft’s powerful SharePoint and Office Systems enables the transformation of process information into useful knowledge.

Advanced Data Interchange Technology

ClinBUS is the data interchange technology foundation of ClinBUS Connector. ClinBUS uses a common data repository which resides on a server to improve and expand the exchange of operational and business process data between systems. Exchange of operational data is optimized to leverage Microsoft Office and SharePoint Server. Standardized ClinBUS data definitions make the data more valuable through well understood syntax and semantics—making insightful metadata from different software   systems available to create dashboards, reports and even workflow across multiple studies.
