RECIST 1.0 and RECIST 1.1

RECIST (Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors) was originally published in 2000 as version 1.0. An update 1.1 was released in January 2009 by an international collaborative group involved in cancer research. Numerous clinical trials, both past and present, use these criteria to evaluate solid tumor response in the drug development process.

Cheson Criteria

This training program presents an interactive learning presentation for the "Revised Response Criteria for Malignant Lymphoma" published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology in February 2007 by Cheson et al. A comparison between the 1999 Cheson criteria and the 2007 revised criteria is also presented. The program emphasizes the need for reproducibility and standardization of response for clinical trials aimed at approval of new therapeutic agents.
