Mid-Size CRO Uses ClinPay's Self-Service Model to Automate Site Payments

Before engaging with Clinverse, this CRO used a manual process to calculate payments for almost all of their studies. The CRO’s team members would track payments in spreadsheets and then send the data to accounts payable, who made the payments. Top-10 Biotech Uses Clinverse Solutions to Automate and Simplify Their Payment Processes

This biotech originally managed the financial aspects of their insourced clinical trials through a homegrown investigator payment system (IPS) faced with limitations. The current system was not scalable; much of their payments tracking had to be done manually via spreadsheets, a time-consuming and often error-prone process, and there were multiple touchpoints the biotech had to go through before payments could be implemented, which overcomplicated the payments process.

Clinical Trial Sponsor Uses ClinPay to Automate Site Payments and Improve Site Satisfaction

This Sponsor performs large observational and post-marketing studies (5,000-15,000 patients and 500-1,500 sites per trial). Previously, a very large CRO was managing the payments for one of the Sponsor's trials. However, the Sponsor was having challenges with site satisfaction. The CRO struggled to get sites paid in a timely and accurate manner, leaving the sites frustrated.

Top-5 CRO Uses ClinPay to Increase Efficiency and Improve Accuracy and Timeliness of Site Payments

This large, top-five CRO grew significantly in a short period of time. Due to the CRO's fast growth, they found investigator payments to be a significant challenge. Approximately 100 team members were tasked with handling just grant payments, and they had difficulty getting payments to the sites in a timely and accurate fashion, given that the organization does about 350 to 400 global trials at any given time.
