A global network of investigator sites
focused on making your clinical trial a success.

SIMPLIFYING COMPLEXITY. PROVIDING CLARITY.

The Bioclinica Research Network simplifies the complexity and solves the challenges associated with clinical trials through a global network of established, readily-available investigator sites. As the preferred provider for many of the largest sponsors, CROs, and biotech companies across the globe, we handle Phase I-Phase IV studies, and are capable of taking a first-in-human drug all the way through to post-marketing.

Our sites are unified by best-in-class recruitment practices and globalized standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality systems, yielding the highest quality of data. Each site is staffed by medical experts and trained professionals – therapeutic area specialists, physicians, nurses, study coordinators, raters, and technicians – and has a full array of medical testing equipment.

We bring you more than sites. We bring you a solution.

Global Sites

Patient Focus

In clinical trials, the patient is the number one priority.

Bioclinica maintains an extensive and dynamic patient database as well as multi-faceted patient communities – all of which can be expertly tapped through our propriety applications and our unique online and social media strategies. We have recruited and managed patients for multiple large studies, and can uncover the right patients for your clinical trials rapidly.

Patient Focus

Long-Term Retention

Clinical trials depend on the long-term retention of patients to ensure high-quality data and successful outcomes. You simply cannot afford to have high percentages of patients lost to follow-up. We have extensive experience retaining patients in studies for up to 10 years. Due to the systematic processes and patient-centric care we have in place, more than 90% of the patients we recruit remain active throughout the course of the study.

Best-in-Class Sites

Our sites are capable of managing large volumes of patients efficiently and cost-effectively, increasing patient retention rates. And because our network is unified by globalized standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality systems, you gain clarity and insight from high-quality, audit-ready data that will drive your trial to a successful outcome.

Specialized Patient Care

Standards of care vary greatly by country, with many patients having no access to quality healthcare treatment. We provide all patients with a general examination that can result in the identification and treatment of problem areas, e.g., blood pressure or renal health. Our staff includes physicians, internal medicine experts, and other specialists to deliver the high level of care patients need. This translates into a positive overall patient experience that yields high rates of patient retention.

Real-Time Information

Through sophisticated technology, we are able to track the patient’s path all the way through your clinical trial. We will provide you with weekly reports that give excellent visibility into the management of the study at our research sites.

Exceptional Quality

Standardized, global, validated SOPs support the highest-quality data.

Quality is at the center of all we do. You benefit from our professional Quality Assurance organization, which oversees all operations to confirm the highest-quality data for your study. All sites follow validated SOPs and detailed training programs so that clinical research is conducted to the same high standards of quality and compliance across the globe.

End-to-End Quality

  • Rigorous compliance. All clinical trial activities are conducted in compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines, the Clinical Trial Directive, relevant local regulations and guidelines, and the clinical trial’s specific requirements.
  • Local quality control. Every research center has a Local Quality Control unit that reports directly to the Director of Quality Assurance.
  • Daily quality management. On a day-to-day basis, Central Quality Assurance personnel, in conjunction with Local Quality Control, manage quality at the sites.
  • Internal audits. A team of Quality Assurance Auditors regularly conducts internal audits as part of our Quality Management System.
  • Standardized SOPs. All sites follow standardized, global, validated SOPs.

Patient Recruitment & Retention

Uncover the right patients for your clinical trials.

In clinical trials, the patient is the number one priority. That is why we treat every patient with care and respect – from recruitment to trial completion. With databases and online communities generating more than one million potential patients to draw on, we are able to fill your patient pipeline quickly with fewer sites, saving you both time and money. And, perhaps most importantly, our staff always treats patients as people – not as projects or as sources of data – keeping retention rates high throughout the course of your study.

Patient Recruitment & Retention

Streamlined Recruitment

Bioclinica maintains an extensive and dynamic global patient database and more than 50 online patient communities with over 3M unique visitors weekly—all of which can be expertly tapped to inform, engage, educate and connect the right patients with your clinical trial rapidly.

Over the past five years, Bioclinica has contributed to 25+ vaccine trials with superior retention rates. We are well-positioned to find qualified participants for vaccine studies as our sites operate in 14 countries across four continents: Europe, North America, South America, and Asia, with a dedicated SMO service in China that is focused on delivery of qualified patients. Because our network covers both the northern and southern hemispheres, we are able to help you find qualified subjects at any time and in any location. You can therefore address seasonal illnesses (such as the flu) around the world in a timely manner.
