BioClinica to Showcase Intelligent Monitoring at Partnerships in Clinical Trials Europe

BioClinica®, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced clinical trial services and eClinical Solutions, today announced Courtney McBean, Vice President, Clinical Innovation will be an expert panelist on risk-based monitoring at the Annual Partnerships in Clinical Trials (PCT) Congress to be held in Barcelona, Spain on November 5 and 6. The Company also announced that BioClinica is a conference sponsor and will exhibit its eClinical Solutions at the conference in booth #504.  PCT, now in its 13th year, is Europe's leading annual partnering event for the clinical outsourcing community.

McBean, co-developer of BioClinica's innovative Compass technology, will speak in the panel discussion on November 5 entitled, 'Effectively Working with the Clinical Trial Site on Risk-Based Monitoring.' Points of discussion will include feedback from clinical trial sites about their perception of reduced monitoring vs. risk-based monitoring and suggestions for improvement. For those not attending the conference, McBean will cover similar topics in a November 13th webinar entitled An Intelligent Approach to Risk-Based Monitoring.

One of the distinguished panelists also speaking with McBean is Lori Convy, Associate Director, SME, Monitoring, Global CSU, Sanofi, USA. The two RBM experts were both presenters at BioClinica's Global User Conference held this past May when BioClinica first publically introduced its new intelligent monitoring solution.

Compass, which was recognized by Gartner as part of the "Cool Vendors in Life Sciences" program,  recently  received the 2014 Society for Clinical Data Management Technology Innovation Award which recognizes innovation that leverages novel technologies and processes used in clinical trials.
