Manager of Image Analysis Team

Dr. Boubakeur Belaroussi is the manager of the Image Analysis Team within the Technology division. He joined BioClinica in 2006 as a Medical Image Processing Engineer. Dr Belaroussi received a Master's in Electrical Engineering in 2001 and a Ph.D. in the field of 3D MRI simulation and artifacts correction (susceptibility artifact and bias field correction) in 2006, from the Institut National des Sciences Apliquees (INSA) in Lyon, France. He is currently leading the development efforts of DICOM image processing, visualization and review, in the context of clinical trials. Dr. Belaroussi has written and co-authored scientific publications with academic experts on the subject of quantitative imaging techniques. Dr. Belaroussi is a member and a reviewer of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM).
